Due to the different systems used between VHS/VHS-C and Video8, unfortunately there are no cassette adapters for these formats. VHS-C adapter cassettes are only suitable for adapting VHS-C/S-VHS-C cassettes to VHS (full format) recorders, not for Video8 or MiniDV cassettes: the cassettes of these systems are of different sizes and the heads from a VHS device cannot play them. This technical difference makes it impossible to adapt these systems to each other.
